The EastBanc Technologies specialists created the «VSK Inspection» solution for signing up the Vehicle Insurance contracts. It consists of the iPhone and Android applications and the portal for underwriters.

The insurance agent enters the information on the policy holder and car into the mobile app. S/he takes the full set of the photos of the car and documents. Right from the app the results of the inspection are sent online to the underwriting procedure. The underwriters see all new requests on the portal, process them, and, if necessary, send back to the agent the commentaries of what needs to be fixed.

The access to the app if possible only from one device registered on the agent. When device is changed, the agent goes through the procedure of registration again. The app stops working on the old device.

The mobile app monitors the geo-location of the user during the inspection. If the distance from the inspection point is more than 500 meters, the app is blocked. Also one inspection session duration is limited by 30 minutes.

The inspection procedure requires the photofixing of the common view of the inspection location and also general view video shooting. The app does not allow using the photos from the phone gallery. It is possible to see only the ones taken with the app.

The server-to-server data transfer is done with the use of secured connection. The information of the policy holder and insurance object is deleted from the app right after the inspection results are sent to the server and agreed with the underwriter.

While registration in the app, user enters the full identification data, and later s/he can set up the access by short code or Touch ID.

The app sets the date, time, and location for the planned inspections. There is the integration with the calendar and support of the inspection notifications.

After getting the contract and starting the inspection, the agent can work off-line with the further data package sending when connected to the network.

While sending the inspection results the app compresses the images. The client can select the channels to send the inspection results (mobile Internet or Wi-Fi only).

Underwriter can see the inspections right on the portal and can confirm them or send for additional work just in a couple of clicks.

The functionality of the admin work space allows observing user info: contacts, device info, app version, activity statistics (inspections, tasks, availability). Also admin can assign the tasks to users or block them, and publish the updates for downloading.

The solution can be effectively applied to setting insurance contracts for property and other objects.
